Welcome to EquiGroom, a platform designed to connect professional grooms with customers seeking equine grooming and related services. By using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Platform Role & Scope

EquiGroom is a directory and connection platform.
We do not employ, monitor, or guarantee the services of any groom.
All agreements, bookings, payments, and arrangements between grooms and customers are made directly between both parties.

2. Account Registration

For Grooms:

You must provide accurate personal details, service information, pricing, and travel radius.
Phone number and email are kept private and not displayed publicly.
You agree to respond professionally to customer enquiries received through the internal messaging system.
Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension.

For Customers:

You must only contact grooms for genuine service enquiries.
Abuse, spam, or inappropriate messaging will result in account restriction.

3. Travel Radius & Location

Grooms must provide a valid address or postcode.
The travel distance (in miles or km) must reflect the real service area.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their location is within the groom’s service radius before contacting.

4. Messaging System

Customer-to-groom messages are handled through a secure internal messaging system.
Direct contact details (phone/email) are not shared publicly unless the groom chooses to share them privately.
Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate messages are strictly prohibited.

5. Payments & Financial Responsibility

EquiGroom does not process payments between grooms and customers unless otherwise stated.
All bookings, cancellations, refunds, and payment arrangements occur directly between the groom and the customer.
EquiGroom is not responsible for non-payment, disputes, or transaction issues.

6. Listings & Content

Grooms must ensure their profile content, photos, and descriptions are accurate and lawful.
Content that is misleading, inappropriate, copyrighted, or harmful will be removed.
EquiGroom reserves the right to edit, moderate, or delete listings that violate our guidelines.

7. User Conduct

All users agree NOT to:

Post false information
Harass or abuse others
Misuse the messaging system
Impersonate another individual
Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews
Engage in fraudulent activity

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension.

8. Reviews & Ratings (If Included)

Reviews must be honest, factual, and based on genuine experiences.
Fake reviews, paid reviews, or defamatory content will be removed.
EquiGroom may moderate or delete any review that violates policy.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Groom contact details (email/phone) are not publicly visible.
Customer messages remain confidential between both parties.
We do not sell or share user data with third parties except as legally required.

10. Liability Limitation

EquiGroom is not liable for:

Injuries, damages, or losses during grooming services
Misconduct by a groom or customer
Payment disputes
Scheduling conflicts
Travel issues
Service dissatisfaction

You use the platform at your own risk, and all service arrangements are made directly between groom and customer.

11. Account Termination

EquiGroom reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

Misuse of the platform
Fraudulent behavior
Abusive communication
Violation of any Terms herein

12. Modifications to Terms

EquiGroom may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms.
